How it works
Our 7-Step Homebuilding Process
We make building your home simple, transparent, and tailored to your needs.
1. Complimentary Consultation
We’ll meet to understand your goals, budget, and timeline—whether it's a semi-custom, or custom build.
2. Design and Planning
Here is when we do a professional evaluation of the site, customize the floor plan and finishes to your tastes, and detailed cost analysis to make sure we can build what you want in your desired budget. Total investment for this phase is $5000-$7500, half of which is credited toward your build should you contract with us.
3. Sign construction agreement
Sign off on the construction agreement and submit deposit for construction drawings, permitting fees and site plan (typically $10,000 to $30,000 deposit depending on project scope)
4. Permits and approvals
Next we obtain all necessary permits, planning and zoning approvals, utility connection permits, architectural board and HOA approvals for the project.
5. Construction
Starting with site work all the way to final paint touch-ups you will be kept up to date with daily online job site logs including photos and video via your client portal, weekly phone or zoom calls, and phased job site meetings. Watch your home take shape. Our objective here is there be no surprises and everything stay on schedule.
6. Client walk through and Certificate of Occupancy
After the municipality grants the certificate of occupancy you will conduct a walk through with the builder to have any concerns addressed. Any punch list items will be completed. We will conduct an orientation of your new home's systems and warranty.
7. Enjoy your new home
We will follow up with you 30 days post close to ensure the home is functioning to your satisfaction.
